companies that fix your credit score, are they any good?
I want to fix my credit score asap, but i don’t think i can do it myself, is there a co i can trust that will help improve my credit score
You dont *think* you can repair your own credit? That lax attitude about getting proactive with your own finances is probably what got you a low credit score to begin with. Anyone can rebuild their own cedit score. You dont need to pay someone fees to do what you can do yourself. That’s the lazy way out and it will cost you a lot more in the long run…and probably will accomplish nothing. The most effective way to “clean” your credit report is to just wait the 7 years for the bad entries to fall off on their own. Derogatory entries can not usually be removed, regardless of whether or not you make good on the debt, unless they are mistakes put there erroneously. These mistakes can be removed pretty easily by just writing a short dispute to the credit bureaus. On rare occasions, you may be able to get a collection agency to remove an entry if you agree to repay the loan in full, but you have to know how to deal with them to get it done right. Educate yourself on how to manage your credit and your finances and quit trying to depend on someone else to do it for you. You can only depend 100% on yourself…..everyone else either doesnt really care, or they’ll screw you. Look into getting the book “Complete Idiots Guide to Credit Repair” or “Dummies Guide to Credit Repair”. Both are written in a very easy to understand manner, and are available through Amazon for cheap (if you get a used one). Being lazy will cost you, but being educated will save you….in more ways than one.
