Nobody can answer for Lexington law firm for credit repair?
I heard some of these companies are complete rip-off, more simply an excess of service prices for something anyone can do for themselves. Has anyone heard anything bad about Lexington?
You know I was going to sign with them, but I can tell they are a scam. That will extend the dispatch of letters of controversy for a long time so you have to continue paying monthly They can do what they do by sending letters and discussing the mistakes of credit for himself. It's easy. I just received a decision taken last week. Register with www.truecredit.com Then look for errors, make 3 copies of your credit report and highlight every mistake send a copy of its report to each agency credit (Trans Union, Equifax, expirian) Also write a letter to the head of each credit bureau Heres a sample letter (customized for each agency credit) Credit Report Dispute Letter Date Complaint Department Name of Company Address City, State, Zip Re: Your Name Your Date of Birth Social Security Number Dear Sir or Madam: I am writing to dispute the following information in my credit report, I have circled the points I agree with the attached copy of my credit report. Theme 1: (subject to determine the name of the source (creditor) and the element type (ie credit card statement, etc.) This item is (inaccurate or incomplete) because (describe what is inaccurate or incomplete and why). I am requesting that the item be removed (updated, changed, etc.) to correct information. Item 2: (if applicable, etc.) Attached are copies of documents (records of payment, ie, court documents, canceled checks, etc.) that support in my case on this issue-which refers (s). Please reinvestigate this (s) Topic (s) and (delete or correct) the disputed item (s) as soon as possible. Sincerely, Your name Your address cc: creditor (s) Attachment: (list of what it contains) mail this letter together with a copy of your credit report form for each agency: not refuse any bad credit does not appear in this example has an error if agency. For credit with TransUnion and Equifax are not listed with, you will not want to send a dispute letter to Equifax, as this will only cause the creditor to the possibility of submitting a report to Equifax. Send your letters first class mail and always keep all copies of what you send and the income you did in fact mail from their conflicts. This way you have proof of the exact date you submitted your claim. The credit bureau has 30 days to do research or bye bye baby debt is eliminated. Here's another letter for your creditors to demand proof of the debt: This was sent to me by another member of the Yahoo board and it is great: Sample letter to creditors This letter is sent to you in response to an advertisement that I sent on 16 December 2005. Note that this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice sent under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC § 1692g. 809 (b) that his claim is disputed and validation is requested. This is NOT a request for "verification" or proof of my mailing address, but a validation request made under the above named Title and Section. I respectfully request that your office give me proof that is legally required to pay. Please give me the following: • What the money that I have to say is that: • Explain and show how you calculated what you say I owe; • Provide me with copies of all documents that show I agreed to pay the I must say, • If the test of proving the alleged debt, including specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature. • Prove the Statute Limitations / UCC has not expired on this account • Show me who are licensed to collect in my state. • Provide with your license numbers and Registered Agent At this time also be informed that if your offices have reported invalidated information to any of (the 3 major credit bureau Equifax, Experian and TransUnion), this action might constitute fraud under both Federal and State Laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found in any of my credit reports by your company or the company you represent will not hesitate in bringing legal action against him for the following: • Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act • Rape of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act • Defamation If your offices are able to provide adequate documentation as requested in the following Declaration, which requires at least 30 days to investigate this information and during the time all collection activities must cease and desist. Also during this validation period, if any action that might be considered prejudicial to any of my credit reports, I will consult with my attorney to file a lawsuit. This includes any listing any information to a credit reporting repository that could be inaccurate or invalidated or verifying an account as accurate when in fact no evidence wherever. If your offices fail to respond to this validation request within 30 days from the date of its receipt, all references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit report and a copy of the application of this would be sending me immediately. I would also ask, in writing, that their offices do not make phone contact me or my workplace. If your offices attempt telephone me, including but not limited to computer generated calls and calls or letters or third, harassment, will be considered and no choice but to submit demand. All future communications with me must be in writing and sent to the address noted in this letter by USPS.
